I. Product Performance MST880 reverse osmosis membrane is a biocide for reverse osmosis water systems. It has strong penetrating ability against microbial cells and decomposes and destroys microbial cell structures, and has strong killing and inhibiting effects on bacteria, fungi, algae and other microorganisms in reverse osmosis equipment. (1) Non-ionic biocide, chlorine-free, with rapid and effective biocidal action, and does not react with reverse osmosis membranes; (2) Has a certain stripping effect on slime formed by bacteria; (3) Compatible with membranes; (4) Wide applicable pH range, good biodegradability, and does not pollute the environment. II. Product Features a) MST880 reverse osmosis membrane biocide: fast sterilization and strong inhibition. b) MST880 reverse osmosis membrane biocide is broad-spectrum: it can kill bacteria, fungi, algae and other microorganisms commonly found in reverse osmosis water systems. c) MST880 reverse osmosis membrane biocide is safe to operate: non-flammable and non-volatile. III. Technical Indicators Appearance: transparent liquid pH (as is) ≤: 7.0 Density (20°C) g/cm3 ≥: 1.02 IV. Usage MST880 reverse osmosis membrane biocide is used in the following 2 ways: 1. During operation, continuously add to the feed water through a metering pump at a dosage of 5-25 ppm, added together with the scale inhibitor. 2. Stop the RO system and prepare a biocide solution by chemical cleaning, and circulate the solution to treat the system. If the system is seriously contaminated, carry out on-site chemical cleaning first, then perform biocide treatment according to the following steps: 1) Add water to the cleaning tank and prepare MST880 reverse osmosis membrane biocide at a concentration of 400-800 ppm; 2) Adjust the cleaning solution pH to below 7 (citric acid or hydrochloric acid may be used; the purpose is to extend membrane life); 3) Circulate for 45 minutes. V. Packaging and Storage MST880 reverse osmosis membrane biocide is packed in plastic drums, 25 L (25 kg) per drum. Store at room temperature away from light for twelve months. VI. Usage Precautions MST880 reverse osmosis membrane biocide is corrosive. Pay attention to labor protection during operation and avoid contact with skin and eyes. After contact, rinse with plenty of water.
